Welcome to Shropshire Property Sales
The rural West Midlands county of Shropshire sits on the English border with Wales, adjacent to the counties of Clwyd and Powys. On the English side it borders with another four counties – Cheshire, Herefordshire, Staffordshire and Worcestershire.
Shropshire’s county town is Shrewsbury even though Telford is a larger town. Although predominantly rural it is famous as the staring point of the English Industrial Revolution (Coalbrookdale). Along with Ironbridge, where the very first iron bridge was constructed, they form a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Attractions are the Shropshire Union Canal and the Shropshire Hills, an designated area of outstanding natural beauty.
